You appear in a random location, like a forest, desert or abandoned city, where zombies are wandering around searching for living people. You have the opportunity to build yourself a protective shelter, craft necessary items and get food and other resources. Remember that physics here is real – if you make a house without strong props, it will collapse. And temperature, weather conditions and seasons can also affect you.
